1996年，Janne Kyttanen在巴塞罗那的Escola De Disseny学习工业设计。后来他搬到荷兰并于2000年毕业于阿姆斯特丹的阿姆斯特丹里特维尔德设计学院。 毕业之后，他受聘于荷兰最大的一家工业设计所Sinot Design Associates（SDA），担任设计师和3D visualizer 。在他在SDA任职的两年中，他接触到了许多来自银行、公共交通、航空航天、电子以及美容行业的顾客。 经过研究，Janne 发现可以把快速成型（RP）技术作为一种生产技术。2000年，他在芬兰的赫尔辛基成立了FOC公司。在FOC公司，Janne担任设计师和创作总监。 Janne获过多项设计大奖：2003年度100%设计最佳新人奖、2005年度红点大奖、Cologne2006年度室内创新大奖。
